Job Opening:

We have a new position open, Associate Manager, Tax & Accounting at Aptar Bahrain.

Main Function:

This role will be in charge of  entity of the cluster “Other Countries”, the Associate Manager, Tax & Accounting will be accountable for US GAAP and Local GAAP and will ensure of the respect of local Accounting and Tax obligations.

He will be also a business partner and a support to director, controllers, and GBS CB for tax, local requirements, and non-standard matters.

Tasks/Duties/Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare local financial statement, Local Tax fillings & US reporting Tax package
• Review US GAAPS Accounting prepared by Central GBS team
• High level review of risks accounts reconciliations in US GAAP and in Local GAAP
• Regular reviews of full balance sheet with GBS GA CB
• Review or prepare local schedules.
• Analyze specific processes with expertise in US GAAP & adjustments entries: ex Leasing, payroll analysis review, pensions…
• Monitor Local SOX controls.
• Monitor Local GAAP accounting.
• Review local Tax requirements.
• Support the business.
• Support internal and SOX audits.
• Support on GA projects as country Expert.
• Front line management with external local audits / Tax audits
• Lead accounting and Tax guidance and/or information support to Aptar entities within scope.
• Strong and frequent communication with GBS, particularly with GBS GA Central supervisor, lead local part of continuous improvements
• Fixed assets: Work with sites for correct valuation and provide guidance for proper execution on the policy and local books.

Qualifications:

Accounting/Finance and Tax University Degree or similar degree

US GAAP and Local GAAP accounting

English B2+
