AQL Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to the following:
• Drives results through the Production Issue Board
• Provides a report on shift performance and individual performance to the Production Quality 
Manager
• Communicates with other shift leads about ongoing issues
• Verifies that all inspectors are performing effective inspections by means of secondary box 
checks or periodic review of work
• Works with maintenance to drive overall response time down by shift and that they are 
receiving the necessary support from the AQL inspectors
• Ensures team members are compliant with all paperwork and data entry
• Drives the First Article Inspection Process
• Provides the issue report to the Operations Manager along with questionable parts for review
• Is the point of reference for all issues identified on shift
• Elevates to management any personnel issues or interdepartmental issues that they are not 
able to resolve on their own
• Trains and assesses competency of team members
• Completes items directed by Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Manager

Qualifications/Education/Special Skills
• Must be able to work with others
• Must have at least one year of Inspector experience or be able to show an equal knowledge 
of the job duties
• Must be able and willing to perform all job duties of personnel under their direct supervision
• Must be able to manage time well and work by priorities
• Must have High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to use a computer
• Job may require standing for extended periods of time and lifting boxes (should not exceed 
35 lbs.)
