We have an exciting position open in North America:  Technical Support Analyst II, reporting to the Maintenance Director.  This position is in Auburn, AL.



The Technical Support Analyst II provides technical support to system users within the organization. Evaluates user needs, defines technical problems, and works with maintenance/engineering/operations staff to determine solutions. Assists users in implementing solutions. Performs ongoing activities to maintain and enhance overall system performance.


This person will also be responsible to raise, and take ownership until resolution, of any request affecting site operations. He/she will administer IS services using best practices, provide support for project implementation, work as a point of contact for communication within the site and between Plant and North American IS Administrators located on site, escalate issues as necessary and provide bi-directional feedback. Team work, cooperation and global thinking are key elements to be successful in this position.  This position must contribute to the improvement and quality of the plant processes, services and products delivered.


  • Provide local IS support for installation, maintenance, configuration and decommissioning of equipment & software (monitoring cameras, plant security, production monitoring).
  • Troubleshoot IS requests from site personnel.
  • Monitor performance of internal plant systems ensuring proper functioning (ex: surveillance videos systems are functioning and have sufficient memory, MES data is flowing and correctly, production software is getting backed up and archived.
  • Adhere to Aptar IS standards, procedures and documentation.
  • Contribute support and knowledge for cross-functional technical projects as required.
  • Document procedures and troubleshooting information.
  • Provide on-site coordination between local services and locally based Aptar NA IS services.
  • Improve the efficiency of the organization by introducing continuous process improvements.
  • Provide solutions to improve plant performance within the allocated budget.



  • BA degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / or similar required
  • English (equivalent of Cambridge A2-B2);
  • Ten years or more experience in a related field.
