WHAT’S NEW WITH APTAR

We have an exciting position open in North America: Tooling Maintenance Technician, reporting to the Production Manager. This position is based in Auburn, AL.

 

THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS 

· Work with Tooling Manager to develop, implement, and maintain a Tool Preventive Maintenance Program

· Perform Tool PMs on tools coming out of production

· Repair minor tool issues in press or in maintenance shop (heater replacement, water leaks, etc)

· Responsible for keeping tool shop clean and organized

· Work with MRO team to ensure purchased mold spare parts (heaters, nozzle tips, etc) are on hand

· Work with Tooling Manager to improve tool performance by addressing common tool failure modes

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY 

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required
  • 3+ years of demonstrated skills to achieve all job responsibilities
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Experience driving a fork lift
  • Basic skills in industrial electrical, pneumatics, and mechanical systems preferred
