WHAT’S NEW WITH APTAR

We have an exciting position open in North America: VIM Maintenance Lead Technician, reporting to the VIM Maintenance Manager.  This position is based in Auburn, AL.

 

THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS 

 

Included but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide overall subject matter expertise to support the maintenance of all VIM equipment
  • Knowledgeable of part defects and how to respond appropriately to mitigate false rejects
  • Train and coach all maintenance technicians on all maintenance activities to include troubleshooting of PLCs, cameras, leak detectors and other mechanical and electrical systems
  • Support migration to advanced maintenance techniques to reduce equipment breakdowns.  Creating/reviewing preventive maintenance tasks and frequencies.  Implementing predictive maintenance where business case dictates.
  • Provides data analysis to Process and Quality Engineers to assist with Process improvements
  • Support spare part selection, ordering, inventory level selection
  • Support scheduled maintenance tasks and projects (upgrades, changeovers, etc)
  • Fully complete required documentations for all activities performed
  • Create job aids / work instructions as needed for maintenance activities
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
  • Assist in shift coverage as needed
  • Maintain Aptar CSP and customer quality standards

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY 

 

 

  • 10+ Years of Industrial Maintenance Experience required
  • Experience training others preferred
  • Experience documenting work performed at cGMP standards
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • PLC Troubleshooting skills (Allen Bradley)
  • Basic to advanced skills in reading ladder logic
  • Problem Solving skills
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 2 yr degree preferred (mechatronics, electrical, maintenance)
