We have an exciting open position in South America: Project Coordinator, reporting to the Portfolio & project management & execution (PMO). This position is based in Cali, Colombia.

This position will support product development and application projects for a given scope of territories and customers within B+H portfolio.

THIS IS HOW YOUR TRAVEL BEGINS

  • Coordinate and execute New Product Development (VALUE) projects according to Stage-Gate process.
  • Create Project Charter.
  • Collect requirements (USR) and define scope.
  • Manage project scenarios together with Quotation Manager.
  • Run project kick-off meeting together with Quotation Manager.
  • Manage project stakeholders, including change management.
  • Create project communication plan.
  • Create and manage WBS and schedule.
  • Manage project budget.
  • Monitor project technical aspects together with Product Design and Engineering and Industrialization teams.
  • Monitor project economical and financial aspects together with Quotation Manager and Finance team.
  • Run project risk assessment.
  • Drive product debugging during qualification.
  • Drive and/or support product qualification at customer filling line.
  • Manage samples for both VALUE and Application projects.
  • Coordinate and eventually run metrology analysis and laboratory tests for product development.
  • Initiate codification process in ERP system with Product Value Engineering and Data Management team.
  • Run launch meeting.
  • Make technical and economical-financial post-launch assessement.
  • Run customer satisfaction survey on project execution.
  • Run project closing and lessons learnt meeting.
  • Integrate VALUE projects within Planisware.
  • Coordinate and execute Application projects, including proposals of technical solution.
  • Integrate Application projects within Planisware.

 

WHAT TO BRING TO THE TRIP

Education:

  • University degree in Engineering or other related business field.

 

Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years in similar positions.
  • Positions in the packaging industry or B2B environments are desirable.
  • Positions in multi-national and multi-cultural companies are desirable.

 

Skills/Abilities:

 

  • Strong technical background combined with a good understanding of the business.
  • Full ownership of the projects under his/her responsibility.
  • Sense of urgency for when it is needed.
  • Strong analytical mindset able to bring precise and robust analysis using several data sources.
  • Ability to timely work in several projects at the same time, involving different internal and external customers, product complexities, project stages, countries involved, teams, etc.
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, including storytelling and training for enabling.
  • Responsible behavior towards the company assets and expertise.
