Primary Purpose

The Business Partner Administrator will focus on Customers, Vendors, and Contact Persons in order to provide governance to ensure business partner data is efficiently maintained, accurate, and integrated between Aptar systems.  The Business Partner Administrator supports the workflow process of creation and change of Customer, Vendor, and Contact Person data in the SAP MDG tool. This position will work with master data users across all of Aptar worldwide.  The Business Partner Administrator will manage all required tasks with utmost care and responsibility.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Governance of Customer, Vendor, and Contact Person Master Data
    • Support master data users by answering questions/issues on Customer, Vendor, and Contact Person topics
    • Attend appropriate Aptar meetings to provide support and gain knowledge related to Customer, Vendor, and Contact Person topics
  • Administration of Customer, Vendor, and Contact Person Workflows in SAP MDG
    • When master data of Customers, Vendors, and Contact Persons are created or changed:
      • Check for supporting documentation for all Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) related changes
      • Check for duplicates
      • Check for adherence to data quality rules
      • Screen against sanction lists and other government lists
      • Check for proof of verbal verification with the change of bank data after the initial creation
      • Take appropriate decision in workflow based on the points above
  • General Customer, Vendor, and Contact Person Administration in connection with SAP MDG
    • Complete workflow within timeframe of the service level agreement
    • Train new users in workflow basics as needed
    • Explain data quality rules to users as needed when they do not meet requirements

 

 

 

 

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Education

University Bachelor’s degree or Apprenticeship

  • Language

Fluency in English required, verbal and written; Fluency in 2 or more languages, a plus

  • Experience

Work experience in a global team, a plus

SAP experience, a plus

  • Teamwork / Cooperation
