Director, Global Business Process Owner (GBPO) Procure-to-Pay
Location: EMEA
Reports to: Vice President, Global Business Services

THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS:
The Director, GBPO Procure-to-Pay is empowered, accountable and responsible for named process in Aptar globally - across all segments and regions – to drive standardization, continuous improvement, and transparency through process design, operating model and performance improvements. He/ she works in close collaboration with the VP GBS, the entire GBS Global Leadership Team, Operational Excellence, IS Delivery and Aptar-internal GBS clients to plan, govern and execute all aspects of the process management globally. The Director, GBPO Procure-to-Pay main responsibilities are:
- Global Ownership of named end-to-end business process.
- Empowered to execute Process Design: map current processes, identify critical issues and find solutions, define standards, assess the processes vs the Standards, drive harmonization in the activities required to execute the process in Aptar
- Collaborate with GBS GLT and the Segments to extend GBS service catalogues for the identified sites
- Influences Platforms and Technology in collaboration with the Process Transformation Director and Aptar-IS to define hardware, software and tools needed to execute the process to drive continuous improvement with advancing technology especially Artificial Intelligence
- Responsible for cost and performance of named process in collaboration with Operations Director
- Identifying challenges and opportunities that can be leveraged for the benefit of Aptar’s Performance and Customers/End Users Experience
- Prioritizing and Implementing needed changes for the identified challenges and opportunities
- Monitors industry trends and drive technology and best-practices changes to drive competitive advantage for Aptar in collaboration with Process Transformation Director and Aptar-IS
- Responsible for the integration/carve-out of process activities further to M&A
- Drives effectiveness and efficiency through best-in-class processes and tools
- Collaborates with the VP GBS and entire GBS Leadership Team and other key stakeholders to gather requirements and analyse data to streamline processes
- Collaborates with Segments, Operational Excellence, IS and other key stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback to streamline processes
- Ensures Segments / Operations are fully trained on the process requirements
- Ensures compliance with laws, rules and regulations
WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY:
- Education/Experience
- General University degree or proven track record
- Knowledge and certification (ideally Black Belt) in Lean Six Sigma methodology
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience defining processes and driving continuous improvements
- Must have previous SSC/GBS direct experience
- Language requirement: English and other fluent second language
- Willing to travel up to 50% of time
