Position Summary
The Master Data Administrator will focus on creating and maintaining Material Masters, BOMs, Routings, Production Versions, and Packaging Instructions for various Aptar sites in EMEA. This role will work closely with the local sites (the requestors) and bring new and improved efficiencies to standardize data maintenance to follow similar practices of setting-up, storing data consistently, and following similar processes across these various Aptar sites.
This role is based in Aptar Ceske Budejovice, one of Aptar’s GBS (Global Business Services) centers to leverage synergies in working with other departments housed in the same center.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with a team specializing in SAP data related to Material Masters, BOMs, Routings, Production Versions, and Packaging Instructions from creation through utilization
- Perform data consistency checks
- Support and Interact with requestors (local sites) to clarify master data creation or maintenance needs
- Understand overall end-to-end Material Master Data processes to ensure Master Data is efficiently maintained, harmonized, and accurate
- Troubleshoot and proactively identify issues, analyze reasons for data error, correct and perform root cause analysis + elaborate corrective action plans
- Export and summarize data relating to material master data for multiple functional areas of the company using queries and reports
- Support the Global Master Data Governance Team and cross-train with other team members to further enhance value to the organization
- Support future Master Data projects
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within GMDG/GBS
Qualifications
- Education
- University degree or Apprenticeship (preferably in Supply Chain, Business, Science or Math)
- Language
- Fluency in English required, verbal and written (B2-level or above in English)
- Fluency in French, Italian, German, or other foreign language skills, a plus
- Experience
- 1-2 years of work experience in supply chain or a global team specialized in ERP processes, a plus
- Data entry experience in an ERP system, a plus
- SAP experience, a plus
