Primary Purpose Summary
Supervise the team of accountants/specialists and be responsible for the cost & time effective operation and high performance of the 
accounting and financial reporting processes within the GBS in line with SLAs and key objectives. The Supervisor will report to the Senior 
Manager, Record-to-Report Operations (Senior Manager) and support him/her with the integration of migrated activities into the BSC.
Tasks/Duties/Key Responsibilities
▪ Take the ownership of the R2R processes
▪ Build relationships with key points of contact across the 
processes and other functions both within the GBS, wider 
organization and externally to maintain an understanding of 
the process context and deadlines
▪ Independently solve the operational issues in GBS and with 
particular entities
▪ Responsibility to meet the deadlines of his/her team and 
escalate to Senior Manager when necessary
▪ Review and validate work accuracy and quality of R2R team 
members
▪ Supervise R2R cut-off times
▪ Closely cooperate with Senior Manager
Stakeholder management activity
▪ Participate actively in R2R Team governance, at operational 
level
▪ Identify problem areas in the process and collaborate to find 
solutions
▪ Quality Assurance 
Team Management
▪ Manage resource allocation in the R2R team to ensure 
efficient/effective resource utilization
▪ Assist the HR Specialist and Senior Manager in setting 
performance measurement procedures for R2R employees
▪ Conduct yearly appraisal with the team members
▪ Review team members performance against monthly targets 
▪ Spend time on coaching of the team
▪ Participate in the recruitment process for the team
Education Experience
▪ Minimum of Accounting/Finance University Degree ▪ 5+ years of accounting experience
Skills/Abilities – MUST HAVES Other requirements - ADVANTAGES
• Experience with an ERP system 
• Experience with team management
• Proficient user of MS Office, specifically Excel (e.g. Pivot 
tables, V-Lookups)
• Prepared to travel during activity transfer and migrations
• Great communication skills and proactive approach in issue 
resolution
• Excellent problem-solving skills (critical thinking, decision 
making)
• Great organization & planning skills 
• Ability to find ways to make the processes more effective
• Ability to lead projects
• English B2+

• Knowledge of:
- SAP FICO 
- US GAAP 
- SOX controls
- Payroll Accounting 
- Blackline tool 
- Consolidation reporting tool (e.g. BPC)

• Corporate / international company exposure
