What You Will Do at Aptar Pharma:
The primary mission of the Facilities Engineer is to be responsible for providing technical engineering support and CAD drawing services for existing facilities and future site expansion projects. Additionally, the role will focus on enhancing the maintenance and operation of plant environmental systems.
What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Mechanical Design and Maintenance: Overseeing the design, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Develop performance and efficiency improvement projects.
• Cleanroom Design, Construction, and Maintenance: Managing and optimizing the design, maintenance, and construction of cleanrooms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• HVAC & High Pressure Boiler Systems: Designing, managing, and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure proper climate control within cleanrooms and other critical areas.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards, particularly those relevant to cleanroom environments.
• Process Improvement: Reviewing and enhancing existing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure cleanroom integrity.
• Project Management: Planning, designing, and overseeing capital projects related to mechanical systems and cleanroom infrastructure.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and documentation of design projects, maintenance activities, safety procedures, and compliance details.
• Training: Training staff and supervising operator training to ensure proper operation and maintenance of mechanical and cleanroom systems.
• Budget Management: Managing budgets related to mechanical design, cleanroom projects, and maintenance operations.
• Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues with mechanical systems and cleanroom environments to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Environmental Compliance: Ensuring that facility operations comply with environmental regulations and standards.
What you will bring on the journey:
Experience
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
Skills/Abilities
• Computer Aided Design (CAD)
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• BMS/EMS
• Knowledge of Steam Systems
• HVAC systems
• Cleanroom design
• Experience in Industrial Operations
• Project Management abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Capability to generate technical documentation for Facilities and Maintenance Operations
• Commitment to practicing and following all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Willingness to gown for cleanroom entry

Compensation and Base Annual Pay
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is USD $42.50 to $57.45 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
