What You Will Do At Aptar Pharma

The primary mission of the Marketing Event Specialist is deliver effective Marketing & Communications plans for the North America region supporting business strategies and aligned with the Aptar Pharma Global brand and sales divisions.  Duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Work with Sales Directors and Business Development leaders to create and implement the Regional Trade Shows & Conference Strategy, including identification and optimization of events, customer communications and events, deliver key messages to appropriate audiences and meet KPIs.
  • Flawless execution of Regional Trade Show & Conference annual plans and all commercial customer focused event planning. (Approximately 15-20 events per year), including identifying sponsorship and speaking opportunities for Aptar Pharma, ensuring presence meets global standards
  • Provide Sales with customer-related marketing support around product launches, events such as Innovation days, communication via social media
  • Compile Leads from Show and make first initial follow up to gage interest and work with SD’s to assign account managers.
  • Gather market intelligence to keep teams updated on competitive activity in the region.
  • Execute communications tools to support the regional marketing & communications needs in the region.
    • Projects may include Special events, Media Relations, Public Relations and Press Releases, Editorial Article development, Social Media, Advertising, Trade Shows, Conferences, Sales materials, Product launches, Customer Studies, Digital Projects including Website and Webinars, amongst other.
  • Coordinate and meet needs for local marketing samples, literature and promotional materials
  • Advise on marketing activities to ensure all are consistent with global branding guidelines.
  • Support Aptar Pharma global operational marketing initiatives in the region. (Branding, Customer Segmentation, Customer Satisfaction Surveys, etc.)
  • Develop and proactively manage annual marketing budget
  • Source and manage external supplier network such as creative and graphic agencies, booth builder, etc.
  • This is an onsite position with the possibility of hybrid remote, office site work dependent upon business needs.

 

What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing and communications (Product, Brand or Regional Marketing, Communications, Promotions, Events).   Preferably with B2B and experience within the pharmaceutical and medical device markets.
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing and customer focused event planning.
  • Experience executing marketing/communications plans, strategies, projects and tools
  • Experience managing agencies and suppliers on creative projects
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships working in a multicultural/multinational business unit environment.
  • Strong project management, organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task/project manage multiple projects and timelines at a time
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to convey information in an engaging way
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail / proactive problem solving
  • IT skills (MS office). CRM, Photoshop a plus.
  • English fluency required, both oral and written
  • Ability to travel at least 20%.

Compensation and Base Annual Pay
 

Aptar Pharma offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary or base hourly rate determined by many factors including the role, experience, knowledge, skill set and location. For those in eligible roles, discretionary incentive compensation which may be awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions.

 

The typical base annual salary range for the position of Marketing Event Specialist to the specific work location of: New York City metropolitan region is USD $68,000 to $90,000 per year.  Additional details about total compensation and benefits are provided during the hiring process.
