The Project Manager leads Industrial projects related to expansion or upgrade developing the program timeline, milestones, required resources and communications. 

 

What You Will Do at Aptar Pharma:

  • Implement project management methodologies by applying corporate standards that suit local site needs. Carry out project specifications, project charters.
  • Participate in the update of the project dashboard.
  • Contribute to the preparation of projects reviews, participate in and prepare summary records.
  • Manage and assure on-time delivery of assigned projects within budget and scope.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility.
  • Perform and update project risk assessments.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (ex. RACI, Progress Reports).
  • Manage technical issues with external suppliers.
  • Support various departmental activities including but not limited to validations, product investigation, application studies, and test equipment design.
  • Participate and guaranty the right level of Key indicators coming from assembly and molding department.
  • Develop the Factory Process flow and proceed to the lean manufacturing matrix to prepare the site in term of production expansion.
  • Develop the respective product line to guarantee the numbers to deliver and to make more robust the complete program.
  • Evaluate and improve the accuracy level of data and secure the data gathered.
  • Maintain the day-to-day indicators and action plans associated with efficiency of the project.
  • Ensure project communication with European contacts and other global sites.
  • Create a policy and system of revision control of improvement actions.
  • Describe methods step-by-step (including equipment and software types to be used)
  • Design diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate workflow and improve product flow.
  • Guarantee the reporting of each project and know how to escalate in case of problems
  • Meet and screen suppliers and negotiate time and cost aspects
     

 

What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of Development Engineering and Project Management experience in a global Manufacturing Medical Device, industrial packaging or Pharmaceutical or Biomedical manufacturing Company
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in Project design start-up phase, implementation
  • Proven experience managing and influencing others in a matrix organizational structure meeting project milestones and deadlines
  • Knowledge of Device Development and associated manufacturing processes such as device requirements, device performance, raw material requirements, molding and assembly process, quality requirements, quality control and process requirement
  • Advanced skills in preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Ability to assess and decide on all technical aspects of the project on the basis of the support provided by the technical teams
  • Frequent Global Travel in Europe to attend relevant project meetings
  • Ability to set and follow a detailed schedule of activities and alert in case of deviations.
  • Sound judgement in decision making and proven project success while performing all work autonomously .
  • Proven experience and know how on assessing the technical quality of technical proposals and provide a detailed analysis of the advantages and disadvantages
  • Manages a detailed budget and provides regular reporting to the hierarchy and to the finance department
  • Excellent understanding of Quality principles, industry practices, and standards with demonstrated ability to apply these to GMP operations at CMOs and Suppliers
  • Strong analytical skills, flexible, and hands-on.                                                                                             
  • Experience delivering effective presentations and training programs.    
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, leadership and diplomacy, builds strong relationships
  • Detail oriented, rigorous, analytical, reactive, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Self-Starter with effective organizational, written and communication skills. 
  • Knowledge and use of SAP
  • Must be Fluent in French and English
