What You Will Do At Aptar Pharma: 

The primary mission of the Sales and Account Manager is to grow the business while developing and strengthening 
partnerships in a Business to Business selling and account management environment. Aptar Pharma Injectables designs 
and manufactures components and technologies to support drug delivery in the Vaccines, Biologics, Animal health, Small 
Molecules, Diagnostics and Antithrombotics markets. The focus of the Sales Account Manager will be on clients within 
the diagnostic, compound pharmacies, allergy and small to midsize small molecule companies. Duties include but are 
not limited to: 

 

  • Manage and grow potential of existing client portfolio through regular interactions, meetings and calls. 
  • Secure and nurture long-term partnerships with designated client portfolio. 
  • Monitor, report, elevate and develop solutions on customer satisfaction initiatives. 
  • Engage in complex problem solving including technical, commercial, quality, regulatory. 
  • Provide thorough and prompt customer follow up and follow through 
  • Organize regular Business Review, Quality, Technical and other cross-functional meetings. 
  • Develop, manage and leverage internal network to facilitate resolution of complex issues. . 
  • Apply effective collaboration skills with global stakeholders and partners such as site Customer Service, Supply 
  • Chain, Manufacturing etc. in support of Customer goals. 
  • Manage deliverables within your team, managing employees, objectives, performance, coaching and talent 
  • development. 
  • Prepare and monitor budget assumptions for client portfolio. 
  • Prepare, update and challenge customer forecasts and financial plans 
  • Propose and establish contractual framework with large accounts, i.e. Supply Agreements, Long Term Pricing 
  • Contracts, Annual Price review, etc. 
  • Actively participate in the preparation, negotiation and enforcement of relevant legal agreements. 
  • Apply Industry knowledge of the pharmaceutical injectable and biomedical markets 
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities within project portfolio. 
  • Organize and or participate in trade shows or conference. 
  • Maintain accurate master data; manage key sales data and sales reporting systems. 
  • Remain current on applicable industry and pharmaceutical industry news, product developments.
  • Prepare presentations and report relevant information in visit and monthly reports, territory reviews. 
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the customer's challenges and strategic objectives. Draws 
  • from experience to provide advice regarding potential product opportunities and risks. 
  • Communicates (verbally and in writing) effectively internally & externally. Projects credible executive image with 
  • polish & poise. Handles questions well in highly visible, adversarial situations. 
  • Proactively fosters strategic partnerships with key decision makers by consistently seeking feedback to ensure 
  • customer expectations are met; takes swift and decisive action to address any concerns or obstacles. 
  • Considers a wide range of factors (internally and externally) when developing vision and strategy; is aware of 
  • trends in the industry that may/will impact the company in the near future. 


What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For: 

 

  • BS in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry/Pharmaceutical/ Biomedical or related scientific field or equivalent 
  • 3-5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Packaging, medical device industries 
  • 3-5 years of experience in account management in B2B direct pharmaceutical companies, industry. 
  • Exhibit strong competency in sales process and strategic account planning by regularly achieving business results 
  • that accurately mirror or exceed forecast 
  • Strong computer skills utilizing CRM and MS Office. 
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements. Knowledge of pharmaceutical industrial standards will be a 
  • plus 
  • Proven effective communication skills. 
  • Desire and career aspirations to be a people manager and manage a team meeting department objectives, 
  • developing careers and expanding Aptar Pharma’s sales talent. 
  • At least one year of experience as a people manager 
  • Develop and deliver presentations, lead complex technical and business discussions internally and externally 
  • influencing all stakeholders. . 
  • Detail oriented and rigorous. 
  • Independent and self-motivated. 
  • Strategic thinker with good analytical skills. 
  • Team player and proven ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Resourceful and is comfortable in navigating through internal resources by collaborating cross-functionally and 
  • can utilize resources effectively. 
  • Efficient time management. 
  • Ability to travel at least 50% domestic travel. 
  • Ability to attend onsite meetings at the Pharma NA site in Congers New York.
