What You Will Do At Aptar Pharma:

The primary mission of the Senior Account Manager is to grow the business while developing and strengthening partnerships in a Business to Business selling and account management role. Duties include but are not limited to:
 

  • Manage and grow potential of existing client portfolio through regular interactions.
  • Create Customer Confidence, be the face of the customer representing their interests and needs.
  • Partner with Customers to understand Consumer needs, consumer demands and trends and how that influences our product portfolio.
  • Secure and nurture long-term partnerships with designated client portfolio.
  • Monitor, report, elevate and develop solutions on customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Engage in complex problem solving including technical, commercial, quality, regulatory.
  • Develop and deliver customer specific value proposition that enables growth within existing accounts and captures new opportunities within target accounts
  • Organize regular Business Review, Quality, Technical and other cross-functional meetings.
  • Develop, manage and leverage internal network to facilitate resolution of complex issues.
  • Apply effective collaboration skills with global stakeholders and partners such as site Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing etc. in support of Customer goals.
  • Prepare and monitor budget assumptions for client portfolio.
  • Prepare, update and challenge customer forecasts and financial plans
  • Participate in contractual framework with large accounts, i.e. Supply Agreements, Long Term Pricing Contracts, Annual Price review, etc.
  • Apply Industry knowledge of the Consumer Health, Pharmaceutical and biomedical markets and remain current on industry, customer and consumer trends
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities within project portfolio.
  • Organize and or participate in trade shows or conference.
  • Maintain accurate master data; manage key sales data and sales reporting systems.
  • Prepare presentations and report relevant information in visit and monthly reports, territory reviews.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the customer's challenges and strategic objectives. Draws from experience to provide advice regarding potential product opportunities and risks.
  • Understand the customers’ business, growth agenda, key areas of focus, etc.
  • Deliver top line revenue, and overall gross margin by growing within existing accounts (expand) along with attaining new business through leads/prospects (qualifying to close)
  • Proactively sell product innovation


What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For:

  • BS degree preferably in Life Sciences (Biochemistry/Pharmaceutical/ Biomedical) or related scientific field or equivalent experience.
  • Required 5 years of Account Management and B2B sales experience in packaging industry and technology (e.g. injection molding, extrusion, etc.)
  • 3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Packaging, medical device industries a big plus!
  • Exhibit strong competency in sales process and strategic account planning by regularly achieving business results that meet or exceed forecast
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements.  Knowledge of pharmaceutical industrial standards will be a plus
  • Proven effective communication skills.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, lead complex technical and business discussions internally and externally influencing all stakeholders.
