What You Will Do At Aptar Pharma:

The primary mission of the Technical Product Support Specialist is to manage technical product application issues, topics and processes as communicated by customers.  In coordination with the sales and quality teams, this role will propose solutions and communicate internally and externally.  Duties include but are not limited to:
 

  • Be a technical liaison within and for the commercial team and various internal technical functions (engineering, quality, product management), to help develop comprehensive technical solutions for new business and existing customers.
  • Monitor all regional technical and regulatory questions to the satisfaction of the customers.  
  • Provides technical subject matter expertise
  • Analyze and provide market intelligence to management and the sales team.
  • Manage and help resolve technical challenges with customers and provide solutions.
  • Support Customer Change Control Notifications for sales team and customers.
  • Co-travel with sales team to key clients to provide technical support and engage thorough discussion in projects.  
  • Work with sales team to develop opportunity and business plan from technical perspective on non-standard items.
  • Support customer complaints internally and communicate results to customers.
  • Prepare and provide training to the sales team (products/innovations, competition, processes).
  • Brief the sales team on changes in processes and products.
  • Establish close relationship with Technical Product Management (TPM).
  • Provide market and product intelligence data as requested, or as learned, to the sales team and TPM.
  • Support prospecting activities including bids, through technical assessment, recommendation of offer solutions, providing technical documentation.
  • Support customers with advice and documentation to meet regulatory requirements and questions.
  • Monitor NAM regulatory changes and analyze potential impacts on Aptar Injectable products.
  • Provide project management for mid and long term Injectable projects as directed by TPM.
  • Provide presentations and product demonstrations at customer sites and industry conferences.
  • Interacts with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs as required.
  • Takes ownership for administrative activities related to the project such as action/issue item tracking and follow up, generation of project meeting agendas and minutes,


What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, BioScience, or related Engineering disclipline.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience preferably in a technical or project management function.
  • 1-3 years experience and strong understanding of Pharma Sterile Injectables fill finish (production). 
  • Experience and understanding of machinability issues and industrialization of new and existing products.
  • Understanding packaging requirements in view of drug products life cycles
  • Understanding customer/market needs
  • Detail oriented, rigorous, analytical, reactive, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills utilizing MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to give presentations and training sessions.
  • Ability to present in front of large industry groups on technical topics
  • Strong industry knowledge of the North America INJECTABLES market, including but not limited to: key stakeholders, customers, service providers.
  • An understanding of the Pharma regulatory environment preferred.
  • Able to build network of information sources internal and external.
  • Creative problem solver
  • Team player and proven ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Resourceful and is comfortable in navigating through internal resources by collaborating cross-functionally and can utilize resources effectively.
  • Efficient time management.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% domestic travel.
  • This position will be hybrid remote / onsite .  Candidates must be within a commutable distance to the site in Congers New York for regular onsite work
