Senior Tax Analyst

Reports to: Tax Manager

Location:  Home-based Remote or Hybrid 1-2 days/week in Crystal Lake, IL*

*all candidates must be authorized to work in the US on ongoing basis. No relocation available

The Senior Tax Analyst role is responsible for US tax compliance and ASC 740 accounting.  Duties also include tax analysis on various federal, state and international tax projects as needed. 

As a Senior Tax Analyst, You Will:

• Responsible for the preparation and filing of US federal and state tax returns, including Form 5471 and other US international forms.
• Responsible for the analysis and review of U.S. quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations
• Responsible for U.S. state analysis, planning
• Develop and maintain knowledge of federal, state and international tax laws, regulations and current tax developments
• Support federal and state tax audit process
• Support 404 compliance for the tax function
• Complete tax related projects as assigned
• Support company compliance with non-income tax matters

Who We are Looking For

Education

• Required:             Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Taxation

• Preferred:            MBA, Masters in Taxation or CPA preferred

Experience                                         

• Required: 4+ years of tax related experience.       

Required Skills / Abilities                                          

• Organizational skills to be able to manage multi-tiered tax compliance responsibilities;
• Strong working knowledge of book-tax adjustments;
• Ability to support the various projects and day-to-day activities of a fast paced, multi-faceted work environment;
• High degree of accuracy; self-motivated

Preferred Skills / Abilities

• Travel:     Sometimes 
• CorpTax software experience preferred
• SAP experience a plus

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $90,0000-120,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
