What’s new with Aptar

 

We have an exciting position open: Project Manager – Regional Technical Center, reporting to the Regional Program Manager. This position will be based in Eatontown and will be in charge of leading project teams for effective development and commercialization of new products and enhancements to existing products.  Displays clear understanding and ability to ensure that team goals meet Customer, Marketing, Manufacturing and Aptar's requirements.  Directly supervises, motivates and drives members of assigned project teams.  Demonstrates the ability to lead a multi-disciplined work group to effectively develop, tool and commercialize new products, meeting all objectives and schedules.  Exhibits ability to communicate clearly, using both verbal and written skills.  Displays clear leadership skills in working with Customers, Suppliers and Aptar's Operations to ensure successful execution of assigned projects.

  • You will lead assigned team to identify goals, set plans, and successfully execute project activities.
  • You will ensure that projects result in products which meet Customer, Marketing and Aptar's requirements using personal skills and industry knowledge.
  • You will ensure that the specific needs and constraints of the Aptar's Operations group are effectively addressed during project execution.
  • You will serve as a vital and effective communication link between Customers and cross-functional/cross-divisional Team.
  • You will supervise, guide, coach and develop team members to continually enhance performance.
  • You will independently interface effectively with Customers, Suppliers, and Aptar's Operations group on both project and general packaging and manufacturing technical matters.
  • You will have the ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required to carry out job requirements.
  • You will collaborate with Marketing, Customers, Suppliers and other relevant sources to identify research, develop and apply new technology to products and processes.
  • You will conduct effective presentations.
  • “Out of the box thinker” must be key driver contributing to the products roadmap and willing to take innovative product risk while balancing the road map for on time deliverables.
  • You will concurrently, manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities.
  • You will have a strong relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills.
  • You will have a professional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong in building relationships, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • You will have knowledge of Lean Six Sigma knowledge and Injection Molding.
  • You will drive, support and adhere to all system procedures and Company policies / procedures.
  • You will maintain a clean and safe work environment.  Follow all safety regulations.
  • You will perform other related duties assigned.

 

What you will bring on the journey

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Plastics, Rigid Packaging or technical area of expertise).
  • Master’s Degree in Business preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience.
  • Qualification in or basic understanding of statistics & experience in its application for data analysis.
  • Project Management Certifications from PMI or equivalent a plus.
