WHAT'S NEW AT APTAR 

We have an exciting position open at Aptar Querétaro: Material Master Data Administrator, reporting to the Master Data Team Lead, GMDG, GBS. This position is based in Queretaro, México.

The Material Master Data Governance Analyst will focus on the following main tasks:

  1. Review and approve change requests in SAP MDG related to creations and changes of Material Masters and Bills of Materials.
  2. Assist users globally who initiate change requests and other Material-related topics
  3. Review and cleans existing material master and bill of material data and run data quality checks
  4. Assist and support Material Data Stewards; who set the global standards for materials.

The responsibility is to ensure the Material Master and Bill of Material data is maintained accurately.  

THIS IS HOW HIS JOURNEY BEGINS.

    • Review, Approve and Reject Material Workflows in SAP MDG
      • Check for adherence to policy; suggest corrections as needed or document exceptions
      • Check for supporting documentation for all requested exceptions
      • Check for duplicates
      • Take appropriate decisions in workflow based on the points above
    • General Material maintenance in connection with SAP MDG
      • Complete workflow within timeframe of the service level agreement
      • Train new users in workflow basics as needed
      • Explain MDG function and data quality rules to users as needed
    • Support other activities pertaining to Material Master Data
      • Perform manual data consistency checks and make corrections and/or inform users
      • Answer questions or trouble shoot issues related to Material topics
      • Export and summarize data relating to material master data as needed
      • Work closely with Material Data Stewards and Manager
        • Support the monitoring & improvement of new and existing Material Master Data
        • Ensure updates to policies are completed when identified
      • Attend appropriate Aptar meetings to provide support and gain knowledge related to Material topics
    • Support data enrichment activities
    Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within GMDG

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING ON THE TRIP 

  • Education
    • University degree or Apprenticeship (preferably in Supply Chain, Business, Science or Math)
  • Language
    • Fluency in English required, verbal and written (B2-level or above in English)
    • Fluency in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Czech other foreign language skills, a plus
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of work experience in supply chain or a global team specialized in ERP processes
    • Data entry experience in an ERP system
    • SAP experience, a plus
    • Teamwork / Cooperation
    • Reports to work when scheduled and on time
    • Accepts and responds to constructive criticism and suggestions
    • Skills / Abilities
      • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
      • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work well independently
      • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, think strategically and explain/summarize complex problems concisely

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office solutions (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Travel
      • The role may require some small travel (not guaranteed)
