We have a new position open, The Beverage Market Project Manager, the position reports to: Beverage Market Technical Director and ideally based inor Querétaro (Mexico). Main Objectives:
The Beverage Market Project Manager oversees key projects in the Beverage market, leveraging a strong background in successful project launches and skills in managing both stock and custom programs. This role requires leading projects, fostering teamwork, and effective communication with diverse teams and regions, including Market Leaders, Marketing Directors, and technical teams. The manager identifies key business drivers, facilitates risk management, and ensures project success while mentoring and developing aspiring engineers. This position is essential for aligning projects with business needs and delivering on project commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Projects: Identify goals, set plans, and successfully execute project activities.
- Ensure Quality: Ensure projects meet Customer, Marketing, and Aptar's requirements.
- Address Needs: Address the specific needs and constraints of Aptar's Operations during project execution.
- Communication: Act as an effective communication link between Customers and project teams.
- Guide and Coach: Guide and coach colleagues and team members to enhance performance.
- Interface Independently: Interface effectively with Customers, Suppliers, and Aptar's Operations on team, project, and technical matters.
- Problem Solving: Drive problem-solving activities to deliver unique solutions to project, vendor, and customer challenges.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Customers, Suppliers, and relevant sources to identify, research, develop, and apply new technology.
- Management Skills: Exhibit strong relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving, Continuous Improvement, and change management skills.
- Adherence to Procedures: Drive, support, and adhere to all system procedures and company policies.
- Process Methodology: Drive APPM process methodology, Project Management in Planisware, and ensure accurate and timely data inputs and reporting.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety regulations.
- Foster Core Values: Promote the Aptar Core Values throughout the Closures Segment.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Plastics, Mechanical or technical area of expertise).
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Business-related studies preferred.
- At least 10 years working experience in packaging systems. Ideally with focus on the beverage industry
- 7 years in Project Management of complex projects including New Product Development
- Experience interfacing directly with customers.
- Ability to develop relationships across all levels of the organization, as well as externally.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in scoping, driving, and managing projects using systematic methodologies and processes.
- Demonstrated oral and written/technical document creation and presentation skills.
- Experience in injection molding, automation, robotics, and/or inspection equipment and processes for the manufacturing of consumer-packaged goods products.
- Knowledge of Aptar Portfolio and Project Management (APPM) process and Planisware software.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
