Function: Project Manager, GBS

Supervisor: Director, Global Projects – Global Business Services

Main Objectives:

By Centralizing some local functions in the EMEA GBS, participate in Aptar transformation project and reduce SG&A costs, gain a lot in efficiency, control and standardization, gain also in flexibility:

  • Driving from the EMEA GBS in CB, Global Transversal Projects starting by the e-invoicing projects in France and Germany and other new projects in EMEA.
  • It covers ( Customer Invoices, Supplier invoices and tax declarations)
  • Participate also in the Aptar transformation projects with standardization and automation on necessary subjects.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the GBS transformation projects from its early stage to the end by: Move of Local functions to GBS
  • Participate in the organization of the project team & make sure to have the proper resources in competencies & capacities available for the project
  • Separate the projects into different stage gates
  • Manage the project timelines on a day to day basis from early stage to post go live support
  • Manage the project team & coordinate the transformation
  • Organize & coordinate with the HR team and the GBS leads the recruitment planning and processes.
  • Organize & coordinate with the GBS leads the Change Management and training sessions
  • Organize & coordinate with the GBS leads the review of the process and organize if necessary the standardization if necessary with IS team.
  • Organize and coordinate the parallel sessions with GBS and local teams.
  • Organize & coordinate the Cut Off activities with GBS and local teams.
  • Organize and coordinate the post go live activities with lessons learned, new developments adjustments in organization if needed.
  • Follow & report on a monthly basis the cost of the projects and the KPI to the SteerCo team.
  • Organize the change management
  • Prepare & organize all the necessary training and post go live activities.
  • Prepare & organize knowledge transfer.
  • Propose, define new policies, new organizations of GBS team to meet the objectives of having an efficient GBS, which meet the Business Services market KPI.
  • Report to the project SteerCo the follow-up of the project

Relationships:

Internally:

  • Need to have a very strong relationship with Business Services leaders and Main Managers in local Segments as well as HR team
  • Need to be able to work directly with IS team with a strong SAP knowledge

Interfaces externally:

  • External consultants which can provide added value to achieve the goals of the projects
  • Need to interact with KPMG for internal control but also PwC

Requirements:

  • Must be on-site in Queretaro 40% or on average two days per week. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years in Project Management in Global Shared Services as an external consultant or within an International Industrial company.
  • Prior to that experience, 10 years minimum experience in Finance is mandatory with a strong General Accounting / Controlling experience
  • Fluent in English and a second language is a plus.
  • ERP experience like SAP is required
  • Experience in an International group with matrix organization and transversal management responsibilities. Min 5 to 10 years. US group would be a strong plus (some knowledge of USGAAP constraints, SOX Controls and Internal Controls requirements)
  • At ease with very flexible & complex organizations and diversity. Very good analytical skills.
  • Enjoy leading and driving mixt teams to success with change management methodologies and efficient project drive.
  • Master degree or equivalent in Finance
