Plant Manager, Guangzhou

This position is responsible for managing the overall operations in Guangzhou plant and deliver high quality products with competitive cost under the guidance of Aptar group.

Responsibilities:

• Make clear and effective plant strategies based on internal and external needs, plan plant annual budget.
• Responsible for managing different teams in Guangzhou plant to achieve objectives including but not limited to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people motivation.
• Responsible for plant safety operation, improve safety operation culture.
• Plans and coordinates actions for new capital projects at Guangzhou site.
• Responsible for the management of manpower, material, equipment, and facility resources.
• Maintains an effective rapport with vendors, customers and government officials at the work site.
• Drive activities of continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, technical or management related major.
• More than 8 years’ experience in multinational company, and at least 5 years in operation management role.
• Experience in operations and lean manufacturing is required.
• Experience in injection industry or food package is preferred.
• Strong Leadership skills.
• Fluency in both written and oral English.
