THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS

The Business Partner Administrator will focus on the following main tasks:
(1) Review and approve change requests in SAP MDG related to creations and changes of Business Partner data (Customers, Vendors, and Contact Persons)
(2) Assist users globally for those who initiate the change request and other Business Partner-related topics
The responsibility is to ensure business partner data is maintained accurately between Aptar’s various systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Administration of Business Partner data Workflows in SAP MDG

    When master data of Business Partners are created or changed:

  • Check for adherence to policy; apply corrections as needed
  • Check for supporting documentation for all Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) related changes
  • Check for duplicates
  • Screen against sanction lists and other government lists
  • Check for proof of verbal verification with the change of bank data after the initial creation
  • Check Business Partner data in Aptar’s interfaced systems (C4C, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Ariba, etc.)
  • Take appropriate decision in workflow based on the points above

2. General Business Partner Administration in connection with SAP MDG

  • Complete workflow within timeframe of the service level agreement
  • Train new users in workflow basics as needed
  • Explain data quality rules to users as needed when they do not meet requirements

3. Support other activities pertaining to Business Partner Master Data

  • Perform corrections & data cleansing
  • Answer questions/issues on Business Partner topics pertaining to workflow or on existing policies
  • Work closely with GMDG’s Governance team: Support the monitoring & improvement of Business Partner data
  • Attend appropriate Aptar meetings to provide support and gain knowledge related to Business Partner topics

4. Support Master Data Business Partner requests

  • From local sites (initiate creation/changes to Business Partner records)
  • From various departments (Legal, Treasury, etc.)


WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY

Education: University degree in scientific or business-operations related field or Apprenticeship or Relevant Experience
Language

  • Excellentverbal and written communication skills (B2-level or above in English)
  • Foreign language skills, a plus

Experience

  • Work experience in a global team, a plus
  • SAP experience, a plus

Teamwork / Cooperation

  • Reports to work when scheduled and on time
  • Accepts and responds to constructive criticism and suggestions

Skills / Abilities

  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work well independently and as part of a distributed team
