What’s new with Aptar
We have an exciting position open for a Senior Manager, Beverage Market NA & LATAM. This role’s purpose is to drive long-term Regional growth through the development of a robust pipeline of projects and opportunities. The role will drive the regional strategy for its assigned market, with focus on mid / long term growth by developing the “next generation product platforms and / or new business model”. This strategic role is critical to deploy the strategy from briefing to Proof of Concept and bring the right support to the regional teams for industrialization / commercialization.
This is how your journey begins:
- Develop market strategies per Application Field, Technologies and new generation Product/business model Platforms.
- Develop long term vision on integration of “new product” supporting the product life cycle management of an application field
- Get the right input to develop this strategy: through internal/external and qualitative & quantitative information (global mega trend, customer insight, competition intelligence with your network and by leveraging AMIT tool, consumer insight) in order to develop the right “offer” that will address the “demand” of tomorrow
- Conduct the analysis of market trends and needs assessments for the regional plan.
- Get alignment and input of the region for this strategy (=> organize communication with regional leadership team + GAM: regional marketing, regional sales, regional presidents)
- Define, execute and own the “Next Generation” product aligned with project prioritization to fuel the 5 Year plan
- Execute the strategy and programs in a timely manner linked to the application Field 5yr Plan. from the brief to the concept phase to the pilot phase, and then bring the right support to technical teams for its development, regional teams for its commercialization, and other members of the GMD organization (Flexibles, IP, Regulatory, Sustainability, Governance, Generating Demand, TCE)
- Develop the “communication” plan & positioning of the next generation product platform launch
- Define, develop strategic partnership and collaborate with M&A team to accelerate innovation and new platform or capabilities of the future
- Develop and maintain relationships with up-stream and down-stream partners
- Support Market Leader with any key market and technology assignments or business needs
- Support any key application field reports to ensure regional strategy gains visibility and supports Sr management needs.
Authorities:
- Work closely with Regional Marketing teams in order to get a good understanding of the regional drivers & trends
- Brief the innovation team and be business owner of the related new product development process
- Manage the whole new product development pipeline and align with the Governance department on priorities and timing
- Be the owner of the AF, and more specifically for mid term / long term turnover
What you will bring on the journey
- Education
- Required: minimum College or University degree
- Preferred: MBA or equivalent
- Experience/Skills

- Minimum 8+ yrs experience in marketing or business development / commercial role.

- Experience working in a multicultural/multinational environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience developing marketing campaigns & implementing action plans for new product launches (nice to have).
- Experience in innovation management with design thinking with iteration phase
- Good understanding of financial business concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a strategic plan
- A mix between marketing and sales experience with proven abilities to achieve sustained results through a well-defined marketing strategy
- Pervasive communication and presentation skills
- Ability to define a strategy and execute it on the field
- Fluent in English with experience in working with multicultural teams
- Ability to embrace peers & different stakeholders (with diverse functions from sales to project manager, finance, operation, quality …) working in a matrix organization. Leadership to inspire, collaborate, motivate and move team members to action
- Curiosity, questioning and listening mode (consumer, customer, internal, market study, …) - in additional to ability to absorb and extract the relevant information - contribute to the global success to shape the right strategy, and implement this strategy on the field (selling it to the internal stack holder and to the customer & brand owners)
- Travel: ~20% (domestic mainly)

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $165,000-$220,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
