Preferred Locations: US, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Mexico - ideally located near Aptar site and major airport

Working Location: Hybrid (onsite as needed)

What’s new with Aptar

We have an exciting position open for a Director of Continuous Improvement Global Closures. This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy across the organization. This includes driving improvement of manufacturing performance, implementing Lean Six Sigma culture, and managing the CI project management office.

 

This is how your journey begins:

  • Develop and implement a global continuous improvement strategy ·
  • Drive improvement of our MFG performance by developing standard processes and good practices for all sites and animating the network to deploy them.
  • Controlling/ governance of implementation
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma culture across the organization
  • Manage the CI project management office
  • Address knowledge management in operations to create synergies
  • Hire and develop talent for Site CI Managers and Green/Black Belts
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive business plans and achieve results

What you will bring on the journey

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (Master's Degree preferred)

Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operations, or related field
  • Deep experience in driving and sustaining profitable growth through continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated experience leading and executing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking with a strong customer focus and team orientation
