Working Location:  Full Remote (near major airport required)

What’s new with Aptar

We have an exciting position open for an Global Account Director. The mission of our Global Accounts program is to drive profitable growth through best-in-class account & relationship management with our top global customers across the Aptar Closures segment.

 

The Global Account Director’s (GAD) role, working closely with their regional key account managers and cross-functional teams, is to provide strong business leadership and coordination across all aspects of their Global Account(s). Leveraging their entrepreneurial spirit, they will focus on top- & bottom-line performance, relationship development, opportunity management, and continuous improvement to create value for both the Customer and Aptar.

 

The GAD will lead the account planning and strategy development process, driving strong alignment with regional teams, cross-functional groups, and the Global Leadership Team (GLT). He/She is responsible for the development and disciplined execution of the long-term vision for their account(s) in parallel with critical short-term action plans to drive measurable results.

 

This position has a high level of visibility and influence both inside and outside the Organization requiring any candidate to have strong executive presence and a demonstrated ability to negotiate with, influence and align internal & external stakeholders.

What you will bring on the journey

Education

  • Required:        College or university degree; MBA an advantage.
  • Languages:      Fluent in English; second/third language(s) strongly preferred.
  • Others:            Key Account Management and/or Negotiation Training.

 

Experience

  • 5+ years of key account management with demonstrated success.
  • Exposure to multi-national consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies.
  • Packaging industry experience highly preferable.
  • Expatriate or foreign work/study experience a plus.

 

Abilities

    •  
  • Strong leadership capabilities & growth potential.
  • Team player but ready to work and drive actions independently.
  • Ability to work across functions internally and at the client.
  • Comfortable working within a multi-cultural/regional environment.
  • Strong experience in selling and in the management of global relationships.
  • Good communicator at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong financial acumen and P&L understanding.
  • Readiness to travel as required by business needs (up to 50%).
