SUMMARY

 

We have an exciting open position in LNC primarily. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain.

The primary mission of the Supply Chain Manager is to define and execute the material flow inside and outside the plant, as well as create, implement, and coordinate logistics strategies aligned with the fulfillment of Aptar objectives and the assurance the OTIF to the Customers.

 

This is how your journey begins

  1. Manage work teams responsible for the areas of: Purchase of productive materials, Purchasing, Logistics, Planning & Warehouse.
  2. Define the Purchasing Budget for Intercompany & External Vendors.
  3. Collaborate with the vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations and define strategies to avoid services disrupts.
  4. Oversee the production of customer orders/inventory to ensure customer satisfaction and the full performance of the contractual obligations to the customers. (OTIF).
  5. Define Safety Stock strategies to ensure OTIF to Customers.
  6. Develop effective communication, processes, controls with the transportation and logistic vendors.
  1. Fulfill with all the legal requirements of the import/exports agreements.
  2. Responsible on managing inventory levels to minimize production risk while maximizing inventory turns and avoiding obsolescence (Low Rotation).
  3. Define scheduling strategies with the production area in order to optimize the schedule & report the capacity usage.
  4. Supervision of the warehouse activities according to compliance with Aptar security guidelines, shipments optimization, cycle counting, reliability, internal & external service.
  5. Report the progress of projects, processes, risks, costs and other information for decision making, visiting customers & suppliers, working together with the commercial, production, quality and controller areas, in order to achieve the Aptar business objective.
  6. Ensure the motivation and professional development of its employees in accordance with the spirit, policies, core values, health and safety of Aptar.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Supply Chain Management related fields, (Engineering, Administration, International Business)
  • 7+ years of experience in areas such as: Purchasing, Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, Warehouse.
  • Experience working with Windows, Office, SAP (or any other ERP- MRP system)
  • People Management skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
