We have an exciting position open: North America Sales Manager – EFC (Elastomeric Flow Control). EFC division belongs to the Aptar Closures entity, and it specializes in designing, developing, manufacturing and implementing elastomeric flow control valves solutions for dispensing packaging and non-packaging markets. This role is responsible for managing accounts, identifying, and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will maintain and grow existing business while being a flexible team player who ensures the highest level of customer service.
Job Elements:
- Identify, secure, and develop new customers executing overall Sales & Marketing strategy to build and grow a book of business via the consultative selling of solutions.
- Promote and sell the Aptar EFC product portfolio, identifying new market trends.
- Maintain and grow existing business leveraging existing Aptar EFC portfolio and resources.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained.
- Achieve the sales budget, 5-year plan (sales and margin) for existing accounts and new business opportunities.
- Use Aptar Customer Relationship Management tools (incl. C4C, project pipeline, Aptar Market Intelligence Tool, IBP…) to ensure the best short; mid- and long-term business visibility for Aptar EFC.
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, supply chain, RPD, Engineering, and Quality) to support business relationship and sales growth.
- Ensure the progress of projects acting as a coordinator between the customers and the different services of Aptar EFC manufacturing sites.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or technical sales
- Fluent in English (native preferred).
- Strong hunter and proactive mentality with the capability to open new business areas and capture new customers.
- Generate your own leads though cold calling, research, and net working.
- Account management and relationship building skills.
- Strategic thinker, able to develop creative solutions to address customer/market needs and challenges. Technical background is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work in an international environment.
- Highly self-motivated and driver of results, organized, and complex problem solver.
- Perseverance and patience.
- Works independently but team player.
- Able to multitask, prioritizes, and manages time efficiently.
- Experience working with C4C or similar CRM technologies. Ability to effectively utilize MS Office and other related tools.
