POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Service Intern is responsible for a wide variety of duties in support of the Customer Service Department and Leadership Team. Customer Service Intern is an hourly position, which entails working closely with department personnel to assist in customer account management of our Beauty + Home Team. 


JOB ELEMENTS & POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain customer account listings and customer master records.
  • Process service & tooling, sample, trial, and customer purchase orders.
  • Develop an understanding of Aptar products to assist with customer requirements.
  • Prepare and issue periodic reports for Sales, Leadership, and the CS Department.
  • Support CSRs with billing discrepancies, color matches, forecast monitoring, and customer material liability agreements.
  • Assist Technical Support with the management of mold discontinuations.   
  • Utilize SAP, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence (BI) in daily activities.
  • Participate in onboarding new team members, when needed.
  • Foster and participate in continuous improvement projects.

 

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College sophomore or junior pursuing degree in business or relevant field.
  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Courteous, tactful, with the ability to work well in a multi-functional team environment.
  • Able to manage multiple and continually changing priorities with demanding deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, quality conscious, with excellent organizational and time management skills.

 

NOTE: This is a year-round position that requires ~20 hours/week during the school year and ~40 hours/week during summer and winter breaks.
