JOB ELEMENTS & POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer
  • Assist with miscellaneous EHS projects and emergency action plan map revisions
  • Lead incident investigations to determine root cause and offer corrective actions
  • Conduct job hazard assessments throughout the facility and offer courses of actions for identified hazards
  • Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the teams’ goals and needs
  • Update the EHS Teams site, a critical communication tool allowing all sites to have access to important, up-to-date EHS information. In addition, develop new communication methods for sharing EHS practices across the company
  • Participate in safety training (training presentation creation and presentation)

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong classroom knowledge of EHS regulations and requirements (EPA, OSHA, DOT, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to perform basic data analysis.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while managing multiple assignments.
  • Skilled at using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams/Skype, etc.)

 

LOCATION: The student must be able to commute to our site in Mukwonago, WI.

 

HOURS: This is a Monday - Friday schedule, working approximately 40 hours per week.
