Job Description & Summary

 

This position will report to the Director of Human Resources and provide talent management support and services for our Mukwonago employees. The position will be responsible for the administration of human resources policies, procedures and programs and acts as a resource for employee relations issues, training and development, benefits related questions, compensation and organizational development. Supporting the needs of our employees and business leaders to aid in the growth and development of our people at all levels to best meet the business objectives and employee needs is a key component of success for this position.

 

Job Elements

 

  • Assists in the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures
  • Operates as a business partner providing a broad range of consultative services using the full set of development tools to most effectively address business needs and requests (e.g. IDPs, Talent Assessments, Assignments, Professional Career Paths, Training, etc.)
  • Ensures the performance appraisal process is completed in a timely manner at the site level, including the salary review process
  • Oversees employee leaves related to FMLA and WFMLA; communicates with employees, supervisors, and medical personnel to ensure proper execution of employee leave
  • Maintains the online E-Learning platform, tracks employee training and completes monthly reporting
  • Recruits to fill openings at various levels of the organization; roles include intern/co-op, management and professional, and plant positions
  • Maintains staffing related KPIs to evaluate effectiveness of recruiting efforts
  • Performs payroll related activities, including submission of bi-weekly payroll, plant bonus preparation and wage adjustments
  • Organizes and executes new hire orientation, off-boarding and exit interviews
  • Conducts market wage analyses and recommends wage changes to ensure competitiveness within the market
  • Assists employees with benefits and payroll related issues and works with corporate and payroll teams to resolve issues
  • Assists with employee relation issues to ensure consistent and timely problem resolution; assists with investigations and any necessary follow-up actions as needed
  • Utilizes HRIS platforms, such as ADP and iPlan, on a daily basis and runs employee data reports as needed
  • Performs various HR administrative tasks, projects, and other job duties as assigned

  

Required Qualifications

Education

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource Management
    • Additional HR certification(s) a plus 

 

Experience

    • 2+ years of HR experience

 

Skills

    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
    • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization
    • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
    • Ability to manage multiple and often changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
