We have an exciting position open in Mukwonago, WI: Maintenance Technician

 

Maintenance Technician will oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of industrial equipment. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular preventive maintenance services, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.

 

To ensure success as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you should have advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good time-management skills. Ultimately, a top-class Industrial Maintenance Technician boosts production by ensuring all production equipment functions correctly and receives regular maintenance.

 

  • Reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical blueprints.
  • Installing new production equipment.
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment including plastic molding presses, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and production-related equipment.
  • Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
  • Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
  • Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Preparing and submitting maintenance reports.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY

Education:

    • Associate degree in Mechatronics or similar degree or Military technical training.

Experiences:

  • Previous work experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer operation skills with current software operating systems and programs.
  • Required to take the STM test

 

Skills:

  • This position requires the ability to stand for the entire shift, as well as constant mobility on a daily basis. Additionally, this position requires ability to move within/between departments and facilities.
  • This position requires the ability to review items closely and have color recognition.
  • This position requires pushing, pulling, lifting, moving and/or carrying up to 75 pounds.
  • The ability to occasionally move 100 pounds as a team.
  • This position requires the ability to twist and bend to reach into awkward spaces.
