Pricing Intern

Job Summary

The Pricing Intern is responsible for a variety of accounting department responsibilities related to customer pricing, including managing our pricing email account, executing price change requests, and analyzing customer pricing.

Job Elements & Position Responsibilities

• Manage our email account dedicated to price change requests, and hold the responsibility for review, documentation compliance, and execution of changes in SAP related to those requests

• Assist with monthly and quarterly company-wide and customer-specific price change implementations based on raw material volatility

• Complete various projects within pricing, including analyzing customer pricing and maintaining/updating customer price lists

• Provide support to Customer Service and Sales representatives for tasks associated with pricing

• Assist other areas of the accounting department as needed, which may include monthly reporting tasks and internal controls testing

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Accounting or Business degree

• Sophomore or Junior Status

• Ability to work 15 – 20+ hours per week during Fall/Spring Semester

• Ability to work full-time during the summer months and winter break

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong computer skills, with in-depth knowledge of Excel

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Cross functional skills and knowledge

• Ability to manage multiple priorities 

• Excellent analytical skills
