WHAT’S NEW WITH APTAR

We have an exciting position open for a Project Manager in our Mukwonago, WI manufacturing facilities. This position leads project teams for effective development and commercialization of new products.  Displays clear understanding and ability to ensure that team goals meet Customer, Marketing and Aptar's requirements. Motivates and drives members of assigned project teams. Demonstrates the ability to lead a multi-disciplined project teams to effectively develop, tool and commercialize new products, meeting all objectives and schedules. Leverages a strong customer service Mindset and exhibits the ability to communicate clearly across the organization and to our Customers, using both verbal and written skills. Displays clear leadership skills in working with Customers, Suppliers and Aptar's Operations to ensure successful execution of assigned projects.

 

Job Elements & Position Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned team to identify goals, set plans, and successfully execute project activities.
  • Ensure that projects result in products which meet Customer, Marketing and Aptar's requirements using personal skills and industry knowledge.
  • Ensure that the specific needs and constraints of the Aptar's Operations group are effectively addressed during project execution (e.g. cost, budget, objectives, and deadlines).
  • Serves as a vital and effective communication link between Customers and cross-functional/cross-divisional Team.
  • Independently interface effectively with Customers, Suppliers, and Aptar's Operations group on both project and general dispensing closures technical matters.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required to carry out job requirements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customers, Suppliers and other relevant sources to identify research, develop and apply new technology to products and processes.
  • Ability to drive problem solving activities to deliver unique solutions to project, vendor, and customer challenges.
  • Manage diverse projects of varying complexities concurrently.
  • Strong relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills.
  • Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong in building relationships, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Plastics, Rigid Packaging or technical area of expertise).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated oral and written/technical document creation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to take responsibility and own performance by setting goals, seeking feedback and taking actions to develop a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in scoping, driving and managing projects using systematic methodologies and processes.
  • Experience in injection molding along with managing the development, testing and installation of related equipment used in the manufacturing of consumer packaged goods products.

 

Non-Mandatory Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in engineering or business related studies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of plastics processing methods other than injection molding such as blow molding, thermoforming, etc.
  • Project Management Certifications from PMI or equivalent a plus.
  • Qualification in or basic understanding of statistics & experience in its application for data analysis
