As Genia’s business expands, we are seeking a talented Sr Engineer in our Design and Engineering department at our headquarters in downtown Orlando, Florida. The position is a hybrid role!

What You Will Do at Noble?


As a Senior Product Development Engineer, you will lead engineering efforts for the development of innovative drug delivery device accessories and self-administration solutions from concept through transfer to production, market launch, and post-market surveillance, for the largest pharmaceutical companies across the world! 


You will manage the development of high visibility mechanical, electro-mechanical, or connected medical devices and accessories for training, onboarding, and adherence of a user; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to developing IP while bringing to the market high value products to better support patients and users in their journey.


What Noble is looking for?


•              BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, Engineering Technology, or related field from an accredited college

•              10+ years of engineering medical device development, regulatory and documentation experience, including generating DHF (design history file) deliverables and building DMR (device master record) for Class 2 or Class 3 devices

•              3+ years experience in detailed verification testing with design of experiments, statistical analysis, gage R&R study composition, appropriate sample sizing, volume manufacturing, manufacturing process validation and manufacturing process controls.

•              Experience generating design specifications, and outsourcing design and manufacturing activities

•              Demonstrated experience in successful project management including defining projects, scheduling, costing, work-load balancing, and task prioritization

•              Understanding of sensors, electronics, and basic software elements

•              Design for Manufacturability (DFM) experience

What are the physical demands and work environment?

  • Mental- Requires a relatively high degree of concentration intermittently to compile reports and analyze data approximately 50% of time; periods of mental effort and concentration followed by other aspects of the job with lesser concentration and attention requirements.
  • Physical- Requires walking/standing approximately 20%, sitting approximately 80% and lifting up to 15 lbs. approximately 1% of time; involves repetitive stooping, forward bending and crouching approximately 10% of time.
  • Manual Dexterity- Requires use of hands, arms, and feet for repetitive lifting; use of hands and arms to operate computers, copy machine and other general office equipment and to record written information.
  • Audible Demands- Requires ability to hear verbal instructions and to communicate with internal departments and outside sources in person and via telephone.
  • Visual Demands -Requires ability to read written instructions, correspondence and other documentation as well as operate office equipment such as computers and printers.  Color and depth perception not necessary
  • Environmental- Requires capability of performing essential job functions in an established office environment under lighting and climate control tolerances.  Noise level is moderate.
