Aptar Pharma designs and manufactures drug delivery systems for the pulmonary and nasal delivery routes, amongst others, helping to improve the health of patients around the world. Our customers are international pharmaceutical laboratories.

In this context, Aptar Pharma developed for several years a function dedicated to Strategy and Market Insights, reporting to the President of Strategy and Business Development. This function, located in Rueil-Malmaison, is responsible for driving the Aptar Pharma strategy process and supporting its implementation in the organization, and turning the market insights into strategic recommendations.

The position will report to the Aptar Pharma Senior Director, Strategy and Market Analytics. The Strategy and Market Analytics Team works collaboratively across the organisation, the regions and the functions, leading and supporting a wide range of strategic initiatives. In her/his/they role, the Strategy and Market Intelligence Manager will provide the appropriate analyses and lead key strategic projects. As part of this role she/he/they will coordinate directly with the Senior Director Strategy and Market Analytics, to track competition and market trends, to set the appropriate practices and tools, and to support the strategy and innovation process. As well, this role requires the ability to marry the ‘bigger picture’ with the technical detail necessary to see projects through from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities :

In coordination with the Senior Director of Strategy and Market Analytics

  • Perform strategic analyses of the markets in which we operate or in new fields, to develop and support the recommendations for the Global Leadership Team
  • Develop specific presentations on market trends and insights that are relevant to Aptar Pharma and assess the competitive environment and performance of customers and competitors
  • Develop market forecasting capabilities in coordination with the Business Development community
  • Develop transversal interactions within the organization (E.g. Innovation Teams, Sales Teams), Build strong business relationships within the organization
  • Support the Strategy process and associated long-term initiatives
  • Provide coordination and analytical support for strategic initiatives and projects as needed
  • Support the identification and assessment of acquisition opportunities and M&A projects
  • Support the identification and assessment of key opportunities in the context of the innovation process
  • Set up and use of Artificial Intelligence capabilities to perform the analyses
  • Ability to connect the dots between the market trends and the internal customer pipeline

 

Our future colleague : 

  • Minimum 5 Years expertise in Strategy consultancy, Innovation, Market Insights and/or pharma
  • Master's degree from a business or engineering school, university - a specialization in Strategy, Business Administration or pharma would be an advantage
  • Passionate by strategy, strategic planning and competitive analysis
  • General understanding of the corporate finance and financial statements
  • Pro-active team player and highly motivated / reliable
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to synthetize and to define the “So What”
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Confident interacting with senior leadership and executives
  • Fluent Business Level English, another language is an advantage
  • Highly proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint), Pharma databases (E.g. IQVIA) and in Business Intelligence Tools
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical Industry/ Drug Delivery System is an advantage
