What’s New with Gulf Closures (Aptar Bahrain)
We are excited to announce an open position for an Accounts Manager in the Middle East & Africa region. This role is responsible for managing accounts, identifying, and developing new business opportunities within the region. The ideal candidate will maintain and grow existing business while being a flexible team player who ensures the highest level of customer service.
How Your Journey Begins:
- Manage accounts and develop new business within the Middle East & Africa region.
- Promote and sell the company’s product portfolio, identifying new market trends.
- Build relationships with both existing and new customers.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained.
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, planning, supply, logistics, technical, R&D, and quality) to support business growth.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of the Middle East & African region’s Food, Beverage, and BPH (Beauty, Personal & Home Care) markets.
- Experience with dispensing closures across Food, Beverage, and BPH markets.
- Technical background is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic is required; French is advantageous.
- Hunter and proactive mentality with the capability to open new business areas and capture new customers.
- Strong technical ability and knowledge of the company’s product portfolio.
- Highly developed negotiation skills and the ability to influence customer contact levels.
- Strong project management skills and orientation to achieving objectives.
- Ability to interact in a multi-national company with cross-functional structures.
- Experience with Accounts Receivable and Sales Forecasting.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Maintain Existing Business:
- Arrange visits and maintain contact with customers to review supply, monitor performance, and address concerns.
- Grow Existing Business:
- Update and supply customers with market intelligence, new innovations, and company developments.
- Identify and Develop New Business:
- Identify new target customers and define opportunities for business growth.
- Ensure Continuous Supply:
- Formulate and administer quotations, proposals, and supply contracts to ensure continuous supply and successful negotiations with new customers.
Job Challenges:
- Maintenance and growth of new and existing business.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key customer contacts.
- Staying up-to-date with industry changes and proactively seeking new opportunities.
- Collaborating with international teams reporting to EMEA region.
Scope:
- Activation of new customers to guarantee permanent growth.
- Ensuring pricing policies and close contact with direct reports.
- Contributing to successful customer service and relationship management.
- Handling technical approvals, quality requirements, and artwork creation.
