Primary Purpose Summary

In this Innovation project Coordinator role, you will be responsible for driving the development of breakthrough product concepts by leveraging internal & external resources. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end project workflows and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and successful product delivery.

The scope of innovation product includes, but is not limited to, functional delivery packaging, sustainable material packaging, and other packaging tailored for new potential markets.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Lead project management for all innovation product initiatives from ideation to industrialization trial & commercial scalability.
  • Ensure the feasibility of designs to cost, materials, manufacturability, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support patent protection processes, Collaborate with attorney for patent application and infringement identification.
  • Support simulation modeling during product development. Utilize simulation analysis tools to verify the mechanical reliability and structural integrity of designs.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies, materials, and design trends relevant to innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Innovation Development Manager to facilitate stakeholder engagement and resolve project bottlenecks. Collaborate with engineers, industrial designers, marketing, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development cycle.
  • Monitor project risks and propose mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and documentation.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental communication and resource alignment to support project execution.
  • Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to push the boundaries of what is technically and commercially possible.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in packaging, pharmaceutical, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries.
  • Basic understanding of plastic injection molding processes.
  • Good command of English communication skills, Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; capable of using English as a working language.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional documentation and coordinate across global departments.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IP generation or patent applications related to mechanical innovations.
  • Knowledge of mechanical simulation analysis.
  • Familiarity with sustainability principles in product design.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to present and defend ideas clearly.
  • Demonstrated strategic and commercial thinking in previous roles.
