Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead our machine learning initiatives.

As a key member of our digital transformation team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving forward our data-driven projects, ensuring that we leverage advanced analytics and machine learning to optimize business processes and enhance decision-making capabilities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the conception, design, development, and deployment of machine learning models to address business challenges and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas where machine learning can add value and develop solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
• Utilize Python for programming tasks, including but not limited to data preprocessing, algorithm implementation, and model testing.
• Perform data analysis to derive insights and inform strategic decisions, using statistical methods and data visualization tools.
• Develop and maintain applications on Microsoft platforms to support data processing and analytics workflows.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of machine learning systems through rigorous testing and validation procedures.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the field of artificial intelligence and digitalization to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.
• Other tasks assigned by manager.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field; PhD’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in a similar role, with a focus on machine learning projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and OOP languages like C# or Java.
• Experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify patterns and trends within data.
• Experience with computer vision, NLP, and LLMs for developing advanced AI models.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, with expertise in at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Experience with Databricks or similar platforms for big data processing, analytics, and MLOps management is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and project management is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft development environments, including PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with stakeholders from various departments.
• Good project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from conception to deployment.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and lead technical discussions.
• Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms is beneficial.
