BCC Sourcing Engineer

This position is responsible for driving BCC sourcing saving for Aptar Group, managing all technical interface between local suppliers and external customers (Aptar inter-company) during the development phase until first homologated production delivery, initialing focus is in Direct Material & MRO (non-CAPEX).

Responsibilities

• Develop new suppliers as needed for Business Development activities
• Know & follow Aptar procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility and ensure compliance to Aptar policies site-wide by all functions.
• Ensure specification alignment between supplier and customers
• Coordinate overall resources to achieve project objectives ensuring the suppliers well understand the technical demand
• Achieve the best supply at TCO
• Support Product Sourcing Strategy
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of technological developments and trends for guidance of commodity teams in advancements of design, quality, and manufacturing
• Other tasks assigned by manager.

Requirements:

• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, prefer major in mechanic or other Engineering in science

• Experience
  • Min. 3 years and preferable in similar industry experience with technical background
  • Commercial background plus
  • Cosmetic packaging products background is an advantage

  • Very good oral & written communication in Mandarin and English
