Product Development Engineer

This position is responsible for technical communication with global teams or team leader ,leading new product development, managing product data, providing products required by customers according to product standards and introducing them into mass production, and providing technical services.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for local new product development, according to market demand, develop new product URS, FRS, lead design concept collection, FEA feasibility analysis, tolerance design, risk analysis, initial sample testing program, product design review, transfer finalization to small batch trial production.
• Arranging sample trial production, sample testing, transferring new products to mass production.
• Responsible for product patent search, identify, and manage.
• Responsible for reviewing product BOM, communicating with abroad R&D teams to confirm reasonable product BOM and correct products code in local SAP.
• Collaborate with global R&D teams as China representative, manage product risk analysis during change process, approval of concession release, validation, coding and evaluation report review, manage the local evolution of global products.
• Review customer documentation and submit to customer service team, and follow up on customer requirements.
• Conduct product training to customers and our staff.
• Assist the sales department in the selection of products according to customer requirements.
• Provide technical service to customers (canning, assembly, etc.).
• Responsible for analyzing the structure and performance of competitors' products.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in design and develop of pharmaceutical devices.
• Extensive experience in CAD, CAE design, Finite Element Analysis (FEA / Mold Flow) in the field of plastic parts, structure, pressure, etc. is preferred.
• Good communication skills and good work ethic.
• Good time control and cost control ability.
• Strong product management ability to work with multiple teams.
• Acceptance to business trips, ability to deal with problems with quick response.
• Fluency in English.
• Good computer skills including CAD: e.g., Pro-e; CAE.
