Sr. Technical Manager

1. Manage technical team to advance technical level, Trouble shooting for technical problem, optimize molding process, monitor mold maintenance system follow with procedure, Internal and external communication in technical section.

2. Manage new product R&D and new project development, introduce, transfers, validation, and major change control.

3. Technical service and product life cycle management.

4.  Continuously improving the process and documentation management, Develop team members.

Responsibilities:

• Select, train, develop and motivate staff in order to improve technical level and service delivered.
• Maintain awareness on new mold/molding technology that can benefit continuous improvement processes.
• Tightly cooperate with production dept on mold/molding related problem action plan.
• Prepare the monthly technical department report with defined indicators.
• Oversee Pharm new mold realization with abroad for new projects and mold localization.
• Product management, coordination of technical information, issues and modifications with R&D in France, Germany & Switzerland
• Provide Leadership and driver for new product R&D, new mold, components, transfer assembly equipment and instrument project management. Build project team and project information file. Schedule a project timeline base on company target. Follow up project issue list and confers project meeting with project member to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
• Coordinates sales to estimate project budget and control project cost. Record quotations of mold, fixture and engineering changes during project introduce.
• Prepares project status reports for management, customer, or others and modify schedules as required.
• Coordinates production and quality dept to finish all project validation. To launch ramp run and Release project to mass production.
• Manage technical filling service support for customer.
• Other tasks assigned by management team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or above in Mechanical Engineering.
• With 5-10 years’ experience of mold design or mold manufacturing, or design within medical relate components/consumables.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid technical conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, persuade related people within department, with other departments and also sister company.
• Strong leadership to work with technical people in A/S, supplier, and sister company.
• Good English skill.
• Good computer skill including 3D/Pro-E software.
